The Valli Devasena Sametha Subramanya Swami Mahāyajña is a sacred observance dedicated to Lord Skanda, the divine warrior and son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Skanda, revered for his valor, wisdom, and grace, embodies the principles of protection, righteousness, and the triumph of good over evil. This yajña is designed to invoke his divine blessings for the well-being, spiritual upliftment, and protection of individuals and the community.

Held over 10 days with a night long puja on 26th May, the Skanda Mahāyajña brings together rituals, chants, and prayers that align devotees with the divine energy of Lord Skanda. The yajña is a purifying experience, helping to remove obstacles, purify the mind, and restore harmony within the individual and society. It is an opportunity for participants to deepen their connection with the divine, gain strength in times of adversity, and foster inner peace and spiritual growth.

Each day of the yajña is meticulously planned, with special rituals conducted to invoke the blessings of Lord Skanda and to honor his many forms and attributes. Devotees, through their participation, are blessed with protection, courage, wisdom, and divine grace, fortifying their journey on the path of dharma and spiritual realization.
